Fine lines, breakouts, puffiness... we all know it takes a really great time (if not, six to eight weeks) to get really visible results on your skin, however sometimes what we need is just right-now payoff.

So how to boost your glow, without waiting so long? Here's how:

Day One

Increase the moisture- if your skin is dry, dull or generally meh, double your moisture with applying serum, in the morning and at night. Preferably, the one with hyaluronic acid, which takes the moisture deep into the skin, followed by hydrating cream. It's important for those with oily skin too, because without it, the skin goes into drought mode, and starts overproducing oil.

For easy application, you can try L'Oreal Revitalift Filler Renew Hyaluronic Replumbing Serum, which uses the power of pure hyaluronic acid to plump the skin, smooth out wrinkles and define contours for a more youthful appearance.

How to use: Apply in the morning and in the evening, pump out gently. Apply a few drops to your fingertips and massage into your face. Leave to absorb before applying the hydrating cream.

Omega-3s - There's no doubt, that we eat has a way of showing up on our faces. For the best skin possible, it is recommended a healthy- fats diet focused on omega-3 fatty acids.

Food that is rich with omega-3 is mackerel, salmon, sardines, but if you are not into fish, you can try walnuts, soybeans, or a cup of chia pudding instead.

Reduce dairy intake- most evidence-based studies agree that acne can be irritated by dairy. Dairy cows are treated with artificial hormones, that may throw your hormones off balance when you consume milk products.

While not everyone's face is affected by milk products, if you struggle with breakouts, go for lactose-free products to see how your skin responds. It's suprisingly how many people see an improvement.

Day Two

Workout- it is well known, that the benefits of workout are strong heart, more energy, better sleep. Also can do amazing things for your skin, in a way that flashes out toxins and encourage proper blood circulation, which in turn, feeds the skin cells with oxygen and nutrients. Do anything that gets your heart rate up, like a yoga session, a light jog or spin class.

Fruits and Vegetables- as we said before, a healthy diet is crucial. Certain vitamins are very important for the skin, like Vitamin A, which you can find in pumpkins, carrots, and dark leafy greens; Vitamin C is essential for producing collagen and helping blemishes heal, which you can find in tomatoes, kiwis, orange, sweet potatoes; Vitamin E to stop inflammation and help the skin to retain moisture, you can find it in green leafy vegetables, broccoli, nuts, spinach.

Give your eyes extra care- the skin around your eyes can show the earliest signs of aging, it is thinner and more delicate than the skin on the other part of the body. It is essential to use the right moisturizer, you can use your face moisturizer or eye cream. Gentle massage is also important, to do it place your thumb between the eyebrows and massage for 10 seconds, then with your ring fingers starting from the inner corners, lightly trace a circle over the brows, and underneath the eyes.

Day Three

Keep your stress level low- stress can cause a whole host of skin, like acne, irritation, and hives. That's why it is a good reason to meditate, but if meditation it's not your thing, then you can try a cup of tea reach in magnesium, which relaxes tight muscles, or rooibos tea before bed.

Use an overnight mask- our skin cells, repair at night allowing ingredients to penetrate and work more efficiently. You can look for a mask with glycerin and oil-free, that moisturizes while you sleep, like Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask. It is a creamy, penetrating night mask that helps skin to drink deeper to replenish lost moisture. All night long, it soothes and nourishes to help skin hold in moisture.

Use once a day, in the evening, apply to a face and neck all over, avoid the eye area.

Drink a lot of water- the key to enhanced beauty is consuming an adequate amount of water every day. It helps the skin tissues to hydrate and replenish, leading to increased skin elasticity. Well-hydrated skin looks more youthful, dewy and plump.
