The proud owner of Emporium Beauty, Louette James, has had a passion for people since the day she can remember!  Here’s her story!

As a young girl I always found the need to care for others, which led me to my nursing career.

After high school I studied business management at DUT ML sultan and worked in corporate for 5 years. Thereafter I went back to nursing and worked through COVID however even though I enjoyed what I did and finally felt fulfilled, the long hours and loss of time with family, friends and the hopes of having my own family one day is something I kept on thinking about …..I needed a alternative career plan. Something that is mine and I am still able to care for people making them feel amazing.

That’s when I researched other nursing careers and aesthetics was so appealing to me, and felt like the right fit however I needed to test the waters and I did three courses at SMT college which was micro-needling, derma planning and chemical peels.

I started off by working on a mobile bases while studying beauty course to create a clientele, I felt really comfortable and motivated by my clients who were really interested in other treatments so I researched for future courses to add to my skill and treatments and that’s when I found Aesthetics Laser Academy, now I’m qualified in laser Aesthetics.

I was motivated to open my salon to have my own company and brand which has its own style and vibe.  Being a female entrepreneur is like having a moment especially in the aesthetics industry, which is always evolving, always been in the path towards creating your own destiny an empire to inspire is only God.
